The Social Networking Challenge
I really believe that helping others to achieve their dreams is a pathway to realizing your own. It affirms your own abundant resources and nurtures an attitude off gratitude. Zig Ziglar once said; “you can have anything you want in life, if you just help enough other people get what they want.”
If you've been following my current route of reinvention at Act2Reinvent.com then you know that my calling to help others, particularly women, is not new. In early February I decided that the best way to achieve my own personal transformation was to enlist the help of a Dream Team.
The result of that aha moment is Act2Reinvent an Online Reality TV Show & interactive community for women 40+. What started out as my own reinvention journey quickly rippled out to embrace other women on similar journeys.
Recently, I rediscovered a beautiful, inspirational screensaver which I had designed to complement the book of affirmations Divine Flow that I published in late 2007. This screensaver features affirmations with complementary healing artwork by Mindy Sommers. For nearly a year, this inspirational tool lay dormant in my computer!
I've decided to change that by creating an opportunity to make my own dreams come true by helping others do the same. This is where you and everyone you know can help. I am challenging my friends on LinkedIn, MySpace, Twitter & Facebook and everywhere else in the world online & off to help me make a differnce by buying the A Secret Treasure Screensaver.
If 10,000 (or more) people purchase the screensaver between now and February 28, 2010, then we will have an award pool of $40,000.00 minimum. We will award these grants in March 2010.
We'll track the progress on the Dream Saver Project website site and on the social networks. We'll meet the women who apply and the women who secure awards. We'll share their dreams and support them in realizing them.
Guidelines to apply for a Dream Saver Project grant are outlined here. Please share this information with your friends, families, & social networks.

Inspirational Thought
I am empowered.
Powerlessness is trying to change that which I cannot.
Power is my ability to change that which I can.
I am empowered to know the difference.
Are you spending valuable time trying to change things beyond your control? What if you redirected your focus to changing yourself from the inside out? Imagine what could happen if you did.
This affirmation is an excerpt from my book Divine Flow.

Leah Unlimited, LLC Chief Visionary & Creative Thinker Leah Young Challenges Social Networkers with The Dream Saver Project.
The Dream Saver Project funds bi-annual grants to women 40+ who are reinventing themselves from the inside out.
Chicago, IL & Las Vegas, NV, October 15, 2009: Earlier this week Creative & Edutainer Leah Young launched The Dream Saver Project. The Dream Saver Project will raise funds to support women 40+ who are reinventing themselves from the inside out. The fund will award bi-annual grants to women who complete the selection process. Young plans to raise the funds by contributing 30% of the revenue earned from the sale of her custom designed screensaver. “My sister & I decided to re-watch the Secret recently and while watching, I was thinking about how best to resolve some challenges involving money using the principles being discussed and/or alluded to in the movie.
Well. I suddenly remembered that I owned a beautiful, inspirational screensaver which I had commissioned to complement the book of affirmations Divine Flow that I published in late 2007. This screensaver features affirmations with complementary healing artwork by Mindy Sommers,” said Young. “For nearly a year, this inspirational tool lay dormant in my computer. I began to envision the “A Secret Treasure” screensaver having a very different impact than the one we had originally planned when it was created.” Young is inviting the more than 10 million people in her LinkedIn network and countless others across the globe to join her in helping these women reach their dreams by buying the screensaver which costs $12.95. “If at least 10,000 people to buy the screensaver by February 2010 then we’ll have $40K to award in grants,” declared Leah Young.
The Dream Saver Project complements Young’s own reinvention journey which inspired the creation of Act2Reinvent an Internet based Reality TV Show & Online Community also for women 40+ reinventing themselves mind, body & spirit. Young and her Dream Team plan to launch the show in November 2009 at http://www.act2reinvent.com.
The mission of the project is to help women who are reinventing themselves from the inside out. Just as Act2Reinvent provides holistic support for these women, so the Dream Saver Project will provide an aspect of material support. “Zig Ziegler often said, “you can have anything you want in life, if you just help enough other people get what they want.” I am inviting you to be a co-creator with me,” encourages Young.
The following are the guidelines for applying to receive an award:
1. All applicants must be at least 40 years old by the bi-annual award date. The applicant must submit proof of age when requested during the qualification process.

Welcome to the Dream Saver Project
Zig Ziglar once said; “you can have anything you want in life, if you just help enough other people get what they want.”
I really believe that helping others achieve their dreams is a pathay to realizing your own. It affirms your own abundant resources and nurtures an attitude off gratitude.
If you've been following my current route of reinvention at Act2Reinvent.com then you know that this journey mirrors my desire to empower transformation in the lives of other women 40+ who are reinventing themselves from the inside out.
For those of you just meeting me, the backstory is that in early February I decided that the best way to achieve my own personal transformation was to enlist the help of a Dream Team. The result of that aha moment is Act2Reinvent an Online Reality TV Show & interactive community for women 40+.
Needless to say there are days when I am ecstatic to be a co-creator of such an awesome entity and then there are others when I think I must be certifiably crazy!
It was in one of these slightly darker moments when I realized I needed a little inspiration. So my sister & I decided to re-watch the Secret. While watching, I was thinking about how best to resolve some challenges involving money using the principles being discussed and/or alluded to in the movie.
Well, whoohoooo, wouldn't you know I suddenly remembered that I owned a beautiful, inspirational screensaver which I had designed to complement the book of affirmations Divine Flow that I published in late 2007. This screensaver features affirmations with complementary healing artwork by Mindy Sommers. For nearly a year, this inspirational tool lay dormant in my computer!
The money will then be used to fund awards to women reinventing themselves. Twice yearly the Dream Saver Project will award stipend(s) to women who complete the application & review process which I will outline in a separate post.
We'll track the progress on this site and on the social networks. We'll meet the women who apply and the women who secure awards. We'll share their dreams and support them in realizing them.
Are you with me? Help me to help others reach their reinvention goals.

Fast upon the heels of this realization came the question how can I use this to help others as well? The answer has become the Dream Saver Project. As the idea began to unfold, I could envision the circle of transformation started with Act2Reinvent rippling outward in an even wider circumference.
When the "a secret treasure" screensaver was created we never imagined that it could be a tool of transformation for women globally. But that is just how I envision it today. I am offering the screensaver for sale and for every one sold, I will set aside 30% of the selling price for the Dream Saver Project.
You may already be thinking that 30% of nothing will not fund very many awards. Well, I have thought of that as well. This is where you and everyone you know can help. I am challenging 10,000 (or more) people to puchase the screensaver between now and February 28, 2010 when the first awards will be dispersed. By my calculations we would have an award pool of $40,000.00 minimum.
We'll track the progress on this site and on the social networks. We'll meet the women who apply and the women who secure awards. We'll share their dreams and support them in realizing them.
